West Bank Municipal Services Project-Water Resources Program: In the extraordinary undertaking, CEP was partnering and actively involved with a consortium of international and regional firms which included Camp Dresser & McKee International Inc. (CDM). The project was funded and administered by the US Agency for International Development (USAID). This multi-faceted project aimed to assess, plan the long-term sustainability and develop water resources and supply in the West Bank, particularly in relation to the eastern aquifer system. Specifically, the project encompassed the installation of monitoring and production wells, water transmission and pumping facilities, system designs, feasibility studies, groundwater and surface water modeling and master planning for development, operation and management of water resources and supply. The project cost was estimated to be approximately US$ 40 million.
