Project Overview

This project involved the preparation of a complete design and tender package for solar energy systems for six schools in the Gaza Strip. The systems included on-grid and hybrid setups with backup power, aimed at providing sustainable and reliable energy for the schools. The project also included conducting technical assessments, structural integrity checks, risk assessments, and environmental impact assessments, ensuring that the systems would be safe and efficient.

Role of CEP in the project

Prepared the full design and tender documents for the solar energy systems, including detailed plans for five solar installations, incorporating both on-grid and hybrid systems with backup.

Conducted a comprehensive technical assessment to evaluate the energy needs of the schools and determine the best system configuration.

Performed structural integrity checks to ensure the schools’ buildings could support the solar installations.

Led the risk assessment and environmental impact assessment, ensuring the project met safety and environmental standards.

Provided technical support throughout the construction phase, offering guidance to ensure that the installations were completed according to the approved designs and met all operational requirements.
