Project Overview

This project aimed at strengthening the capacity of municipal staff and technicians in Palestine to operate and maintain solar energy systems used in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) infrastructure. The project included conducting a capacity needs assessment, organizing training sessions, and providing post-training assessments to ensure the effective operation and sustainability of solar systems.

Role of CEP in the project

Conducted a capacity needs assessment to identify the training requirements of municipal staff and technicians.

Developed and delivered comprehensive training programs covering the design, operation, and maintenance of solar energy systems in WASH infrastructure.

Focused on enhancing technical skills to ensure proper operation and maintenance of solar systems, improving energy efficiency and sustainability in local municipalities.

Provided post-training assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of the training and to identify any additional needs for continued support.
