Project Description
The Gaza Culture and Development Group (GCDG) was a Palestinian non-profit and non-governmental organization established in 1990 that worked on achieving sustainable development and sustainable future by implementing cultural and development initiatives and projects. The GCDG also worked on enhancing abilities, developing skills and societal awareness for marginalized groups in the Gaza Strip in order to improve their economic conditions. Along this, ANERA supported the GCDG in constructing a vocational and educational training center to advance their mission in the Gaza Strip.
This consultancy service included the design and construction supervision of a two-floor vocational and educational center in the North of Gaza with a total area of 700 m2. The designs were prepared based on the IBC 2018 and Green Building Design requirements.
The ground floor included four educational halls for diploma languages and translation, business administration, entrepreneurship, photography and film production. In addition, the ground floor included a multipurpose hall and reception area.
The first floor included two computer labs, hall for diploma of digital marketing and electronic trade, library and administrative rooms.
