Project Overview

The Gaza Vulnerable Communities’ Development Project II (GVCDPII) was a significant initiative aimed at enhancing the delivery of basic services to vulnerable populations in Gaza. The project focused on supporting the operationalization of the country’s macro-level policies and strategies. It sought to improve municipal service provision and ensure increased participation of vulnerable groups in local planning and decision-making processes. The project aligned with the goal of strengthening the resilience and capacity of municipalities and vulnerable communities to better respond to their needs.

Role of CEP in the project

Providing Technical Support: CEP offered specialized technical assistance to the project, ensuring that all activities aligned with the broader development strategies and met the needs of vulnerable communities.

Facilitating Municipal Capacity Building: CEP helped strengthen municipalities' ability to plan, manage, and deliver services effectively to vulnerable populations.
