Project Overview
The Empowering Palestinian Local Authorities (EPLA) project aimed to enhance the capabilities of municipalities and local committees in the planning, design, construction, and management of infrastructure projects. This initiative focused on strengthening the skills of municipal engineers and managers, enabling them to deliver development projects efficiently and in line with local and international standards.
Role of CEP in the project
CEP played a pivotal role in supporting the municipalities in enhancing their infrastructure management skills:
Training and Capacity Development: CEP delivered specialized training to municipal engineers and local committees, focusing on best practices in project management and design.
Bidding and Contracting Assistance: CEP provided guidance and technical assistance in preparing bidding documents and contract agreements, ensuring that procurement processes were transparent and compliant with required standards.
Construction Supervision: CEP oversaw the construction phases of various municipal projects, ensuring they were executed to high standards and completed in a timely manner.
