Project Overview
The project involved providing high-level Human Resources (HR) consulting services to support the Employability Program developed by PITA. The focus of the consulting services was on the classification, recruitment, and selection of participants for the program, aiming to identify and meet the demand for skilled ICT (Information and Communication Technology) professionals in Palestine.
The Employability Program sought to enhance the competitiveness of Palestine’s ICT sector at the regional and international levels. It aimed to equip students and fresh graduates with essential technical and soft skills through practical experience and capacity-building initiatives. The program included opportunities such as graduation projects with companies and internships in local and regional businesses.
Role of CEP in the project
CEP played an essential role in delivering the HR consulting services, including:
Classifying and Recruiting Participants: CEP assisted in designing the recruitment processes to ensure that the program attracted the best candidates with the potential to succeed in the competitive ICT industry.
Selection Process Design: CEP helped develop selection criteria for participants, ensuring that those chosen for the program possessed the necessary qualifications and attributes to benefit from and contribute to the program effectively.
Supporting Capacity Building Programs: CEP also contributed to the capacity-building efforts that complemented the Employability Program, focusing on both technical and soft skills development to enhance the employability of participants in the ICT sector.
