Project Overview
This project focused on upgrading the New Public Agricultural Market in Al Ma’sara Area, Abasan Al Kabira, Gaza Strip, to enhance its functionality and accommodate the needs of market users. The scope of work included structural improvements, facility upgrades, and environmental assessments to ensure safety and sustainability.
The work included:
Replaced damaged sun shade sheets.
Conducted interlock tiling works covering approximately 1,500 m² for the market, storage, and packing areas.
Constructed a guard's room and three toilets, including one designed for handicapped accessibility.
Supplied furniture for the administration office building.
Conducted a seismic evaluation and prepared a complete material list, environmental impact assessment (EIA), and cost estimate.
Role of CEP in the Project
Designed and supervised the construction activities to ensure quality and functionality.
Prepared detailed evaluations, including seismic safety and environmental impact assessments.
Delivered cost estimates and material specifications for the project.
