Project Description

The consultancy services included preparing the detailed design and tender documents, providing, assistance in tendering and construction supervision for the construction and equipping Deir Al Balah Community center and agribusinesses in 6000 m2 development.

The project was designed to foster a circular economy through agribusinesses that supported the community center. The community center targeted youth and women in the area of Deir Al Balah and included a fab lab, innovation space, hackathon area, outdoor activity areas and psychosocial support facilities. The project was designed according to energy efficiency requirements and green building principles.

The agribusinesses included:

Closed Rearing System Chicken Farm.

Frozen Food Production Unit, including shock freeze and three 80 m3 freezers

Greenhouse and outdoor plantation area

Animal Husbandry

Fabrication Lab.
