Project Overview
This project involved the design and preparation of tender documents for two stormwater infiltration basins: one with an area of 3,000 m² in Beit Lahya and another with an area of 1,500 m² in the El Manshya area. The design aimed to capture and manage stormwater runoff through efficient infiltration systems, utilizing soil filters, infiltration boreholes, gabions, and drainage infrastructure.
Role of CEP in the project
Designed the stormwater infiltration basins, including the layout and selection of components such as soil filters, infiltration boreholes, gabions, and drainage systems.
Prepared detailed tender documents, including design drawings, technical specifications, and construction schedules for the basins.
Ensured the designs met local and international engineering standards for stormwater management and groundwater recharge.
Collaborated with stakeholders to ensure the design was practical, cost-effective, and aligned with environmental considerations.
Provided input on material selection and construction methods to optimize performance and sustainability of the infiltration systems.
